Penicillin Cocktail at Hamlet & Ghost
What’s the matter? Not feeling well? How about some Penicillin?
Don’t worry, it’s not what you think. No, we’re not talking about antibiotics, that would just be weird. We’re talking about the Penicillin Cocktail at Hamlet & Ghost, which is known to have some medicinal effects so pay attention, sniffles!
Brought to us by Australian bartender Sam Ross, formerly of Milk & Honey and now at Attaboy, two immensely popular NYC neo-speakeasies. This concoction of scotch, ginger, and fresh lemon juice is something of a cure-all — hence the name. How can you go wrong with the soft and soothing character of blended Scotch whisky, the healing powers of bright citrus and a hint of spice from the ginger? No wonder this drink has quickly become a favorite among locals, filling their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook feeds.
All we know is, whether we’re feeling a little under the weather or feeling fantastic, we’re drinking the Penicillin Cocktail at Hamlet & Ghost because it’s delicious.
