Beet Factory – Hamlet & Ghost

Don’t let the Caroline Street address fool you, you won’t find shots of Fireball here. Hamlet & Ghost is Saratoga’s most distinguished craft cocktail bar, melding the modern cocktail experience with a classic speakeasy coolness. They even have a doorman to regulate the number of people allowed in, so you can enjoy your meticulously prepared beverage comfortably, giving you plenty of room to maneuver the perfect angle for capturing these Instagram worthy cocktail creations. Sword Dancer – The Brentwood

Definitely a hidden gem, the Brentwood is not your typical bar. Located inside a recently renovated motel, directly across the street from the Saratoga Race Course backstretch, it’s sure to give you all the feels. Think Brooklyn meets upstate New York horse town. And the cocktail menu is on point! Definitely one of our favorite spots when we just want to relax and enjoy a delicious adult beverage.

We should also point out that you can enjoy these tasty concoctions any time between 8am and 11pm, just in case you’re looking to get started early.

Mouzon-Rita + Grapefruit Gin Fizz – Mouzon House

This incredible farm-to-table restaurant is all about fresh ingredients and the cocktail menu is no exception, with some interesting twists on many of our favorite classics. Check out the Mouzon-Rita — tequila, beet and jalapeno infused agave, fresh lemon and lime juice, over ice.

In addition to serving up delicious food and drinks, the garden bar at Mouzon House is one of our absolute favorite spots in town, with live music 7 night a week.

Sting Like a Bee – Morrissey’s

A newcomer as of fall 2017, Morrissey’s is located just inside the recently renovated Adelphi Hotel on Broadway. This bar hasn’t seen a Saratoga summer yet, but it’s sure to be a hit with the track crowd. It’s already one of the more popular upscale bars in town. We’re big fans of the Sting Like a Bee, a delicious concoction of bourbon, Lillet Blanc, muddled orange, honey and black tea simple syrup.

Aviation – 15 Church

The 15 Church patio is, without question, the hottest spot in Saratoga for the 30 and over crowd, from Memorial Day through Labor day. The cocktail list, which includes drinks like Champagne Mojito and the Bourbon Peach T, is perfectly curated for those warm summer nights. The vibe is classy yet relaxed, which makes it the quintessential after-work cocktail meet up location or the perfect place to mingle with someone new, (undoubtedly with great taste if they’re found hanging out here).

Front of cocktail bar located in two story stand alone brick building with a green awning the says 9 Maple Ave

This is not the place you order a fancy, on trend, craft cocktail. This where you go to sip on one of the best martinis you’ve ever had (over 250 choices on the martini menu) and listen to jazz music (live jazz every Fri and Sat form 9pm to 1am — $2 cover). We should also mentioned that 9 Maple boasts the largest selection of single malt scotches between Manhattan and Montreal, if you’re into that sort of thing.
